There is nothing like performing in an exciting, sensual, yet fiercely political and confronting cabaret like “Dosostias”. I faced my fears in more ways than one during this production, and the sense of achievement gained by this experience is what I feel this industry is all about. This show was glamourous, sexy, satirical, full of fabulous latin rhythms, and yet underneath all the pizzazz this cabaret cleverly and unapologetically made us question our responsibilities as a society. I enjoy being a part of something that entertains, and yet in the same breath has a depth and purpose. There is no room for complacency anymore.
